This Privacy Policy explains how Dream House Photo, operating the website https://www.dreamhousephoto.ca (the "Website"), and its associated real estate photography, videography, drone, 3D tour, floor plan, virtual staging, and related media services (collectively, the "Services"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of visitors, clients, and users ("you", "your").

The Services are operated by 11671723 Canada Inc., registered at 195 Altamira Road, Richmond Hill, ON L4C4C6  Canada, operating in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Ontario, Canada ("we", "us", "our", "the Company").

By accessing the Website, submitting a booking request, or otherwise using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Full name and contact details (email address, phone number)

  • Property/listing address for which Services are booked

  • Billing and payment information (processed via a third-party payment processor)

  • Real estate brokerage or company name, if applicable

  • Preferences, special instructions, and communications you send to us (email, order form, phone)

  • Any other information you voluntarily provide via our contact or booking forms

 

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system

  • Pages visited, referring website, date and time of visit

  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)

  • Analytics data collected through third-party tools (e.g., website builder/hosting platform analytics etc.)

 

2.3 Photographic and Media Content

In the course of providing photography, videography, drone, 3D tour, and floor plan Services, we may capture images and footage of real estate property, including its interior and exterior, and, incidentally, individuals present at the property at the time of the shoot. We do not intentionally photograph individuals as the subject of real estate marketing content. The Client is solely responsible for notifying all occupants, residents, and visitors of the property about the scheduled shoot and obtaining any necessary privacy consents. Delivered media files may also contain embedded metadata, such as the date and time of capture, camera settings, and location information where applicable.

 

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To schedule, confirm, and deliver booked Services

  • To process payments and issue invoices/receipts

  • To communicate with you regarding your order, including scheduling changes and delivery of final materials

  • To respond to inquiries submitted through the Website, email, or phone

  • To improve our Website, Services, and customer experience

  • To send you promotional communications, where you have consented to receive them, and which you may opt out of at any time

  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms/Public Offer Agreement

 

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We collect and process personal information on the basis of: (a) your consent; (b) the necessity of processing to perform a contract with you (i.e., to provide the booked Services); (c) our legitimate business interests, such as improving our Services and preventing fraud; and (d) compliance with applicable legal obligations, including Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

 

5. Disclosure of Information to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

  • Cloud storage, online gallery, hosting, file delivery and website platform providers (e.g. Wix.com, Pixieset, HDPhotoHub, Aryeo, Matterport, Cubicasa, Google and related infrastructure providers)

  • Editors, subcontracted photographers/videographers, or drone operators engaged to fulfill your order, under confidentiality obligations

  • Real estate brokerages or agents on whose behalf a booking is made, where relevant to delivery of Services

  • Professional advisors (legal, accounting) where necessary

  • Law enforcement or regulatory authorities where required by law

  • The Company is not responsible for any further disclosure, downloading, or use of such media by third parties once made available by or through the Client.

 

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Website may use cookies and similar technologies to operate correctly, remember preferences, and analyze traffic. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Website.

 

7. Data Storage, Security, and International Transfer

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. Data may be stored on servers located in Canada, USA or other countries and may be processed by service providers located outside Canada, in which case it may become subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.

We retain personal information, including delivered photo/video/3D tour materials, for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, satisfy legal, accounting, or reporting obligations, and resolve disputes. Delivered media files may be retained on our servers for a period of 1 year for backup and portfolio purposes. Retention of media content for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes shall be governed by our Public Offer Agreement / Terms of Service.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information

  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements
